Weapons testing by Beowulf-Kennedy Weapons testing by Beowulf-Kennedy
A scene from my story. Ah like BEEEG weapons!:D

Of couse, this really isnt THAT big, being infantry-based. But in case you could/couldnt tell, that weapon is a rotating-barrel energy-based infantry killer designed to pierce armor at a medium to long range with a positively DISGUSTING rate of fire. How fast, you wonder? You ever seen the US military design where they mount a vulcan cannon on an A-10 warthog or a turret-mounted version on the back of Hummers? Think of a rate of fire greater than that. ;)

Ive got plans for this. It'l be colored eventually, for sure.

 Meeecccchhhaaaa.....
If the blast isn't obscenely powerful, then it has no business trying to blow anything up...I imagine this machine could level a city pretty decently.
Hoo yeah. :evileye:

Jah! I was thinking that as an energy-based weapon, the rate of fire could be kicked up so high on this that it would be almost like a beam-weapon/flamethrower thats fires long distances. Its not meant to blow up so much as its meant to shred into infantry and light armor. ;) Hehe. Glad you like, too!:D And good to see&hear from you again, its been awhile!:)

Awesome drawing, I like the sense of power that big dude has.

Cool. Very cool. Like the angle.
Yes, that is a disgusting rate of fire. The vulcan fires 6000rpm, so yes, real high rate of fire. The GAU-8a on the Warthog has a slightly slower rate of fire, but is known to make the aircraft lose a good 5-10kt of airspeed after a 2 sec burst (30mm depleated uranium shells will do that ;) ) Metal Storm perhaps?
I like it, off to take a look at the rest of your gallery.

Hoi dude, you really know your armaments!;3 Nah, I just only today heard about the Metal Storm weapons system, myself. That device is AMAZING, considering how many shots it can accurately place in such a short period of time! And to boot, that isnt even necessarilly the most amazing weapon in development! I hear there's a boat-mounted rail gun that fires a 3ft long solid metal 40lb bullet 8000ft per second to hit a target up to 200 miles away at about 5000ft per second. AND an orbital satelite that drops aerodynamic spears that hit targets at 65000ft per second. Neither have exposives but the speed alone is like a meteor's destruction... These are truly incredible developments in modern warfare! I'd even go so far as to call them miraculous! :)

Lovely! I freaking love the details in the picture :).

Somehow I think the head would need a bit more detail. Apart from the whole body, that part looks all empty and such ;p.

But still, freaking love it.
