Not QUITE on a jet plane. But kinda the same deal. =p

I've been on haiatus from this site cuz I more or less wasnt digin' the vibe of the overcommecialized, too-big, and over-spammed site that has become DA. Long load times and an overcomplicated means of posting art also kept me away and disinterested in throwin' stuff onto Deviantart. Sooo,...

Until further notice, I'm gonna close down the gallery, here. For anyone whom I still owe work, I can be found at [link] . I might not post too much considering my work schedule, but I still check the site daily for art post updates and any commission deals I've struck.

And just for refrence, I AM still doing art on a nigh-daily basis, I just dont really care too heavilly about posting it anywhere. Kinda gettin' tired of the implied popularity contest, and I'm happy enough to know I'm doing quality work on my own, for myself. My own projects are taking priority, and hopefully I'll be able to share it later in the comming months when it reaches fruition. We'll see. :3

And aside from that, I might start posting stuff again after this summer, when I figure work might be dying down and my schedule becomes a bit more flexible.

God bless, folk. See you 'round August, earlier if I'm lucky! :3

SO at the top of my Christmass list! ^_^

Thank you Kitwulfen, for linking me to this! :D

I would like to thank everyone who gave willing and ample advice when I made my prior post about my illness. I'm pretty much in the clear with no further complications. But the willingness of you to help out - even if in a small and easy way - when needed was and is greatly appreciated. :3

Hah. Contract's done. Back from Texas, back from work with AT&T, back from being a well-paid vagrant driving all over God's creation, back from sleeping outta my SUV in campgrounds and hotel parking lots, back from working more hours than I even care to remember. If any of you have the chance to work 7 days a week for nearly a month... Well, accept or pass at your own discretion. XD

Aside from being able to swing a visit to both :iconcebelius: and Dook one last time before I'd left the Lone Star State (I had a wonderful time for our dinner outing, Dook! And, we DID IT! We proved you CAN get drunk on The Blackout Cake! WOOT! ^_^), I also had the pleasure of being able to swing a visit to Baka Sukonku, and become introduced to his housemates Niori and Cien. The trip was more than worth it, and I had a damn fun time hangin' out with the lot of you.

( (Bigass parenthesis. :p)

Cien, it was great getting to hang out with you and listen to your music. You are a delightfully cultured and suave young man and I STILL demand that when you do manage to complete your symphony that I either be able to pirate a copy for myself or just up and buy it. What you'd shown me was THAT good. :D

Baka, you're a powder keg of fun as always, and it was great being able to see you again, let alone help out with artwork. You truly are growing in skill by leaps and bounds, and its nothing short of inspiring to see how you work. I can garauntee you that I've carried that home with me, and I keep that in mind as I go about creating my own works. Congratulations, Ser. You arent just a wonderful personality, but inspiring. ;3

(Close bigass parenthesis. X3) )

And now that I'm back home in DC, I finally have a decent ammount of free time to myself. And on that note, at the top of the list of my things to do, artwork is priority once again. And aside from getting back to my queue of commissions, I've also got a bit of a project waiting in the wings. A 1-volume comic that I'm about 5 pages deep in penciling out... We'll see where it goes and how long it takes me to whip it out.

And in other artstuff updates, it seems that I'll be obligated in more than one way to go to Furry Weekend Atlanta, this next March. I've been called upon to work as a guest artist, and possibly host a panel! =D

That is full of awesome sauce! ^_^

....

Aaaaand, back to work. :p

PS: Merry Christmass, a month ahead! =D

Alright, I need help.

I've been home for a week from getting back from Texas, and I think a combination of overworking, long hours, big drives, and going from a warm and amicable climate to a cold and frosty one has made me - for the first memorable time in years - sick.

No congestion, but I'm coughing so much so hard that my chest rattles, and I get a little dizzy after each fit, and a general sense of fatigue permeates my conciousness. Quote the Bloodhound Gang, "That Cough Came With A Prize". And this is seriously stirring my ire, considering how much of a gym nut I've become. I snarl more missing a single day of working out more than I know people who miss a weekly attendance of church. >.<

I'm at the point where bathing in the blood of my enemies, sacrificing virgins over a firey pit, and wearing a necklace of interlinked fetus heads would be a justifiable end, as long as it cured me of this funk.

Does ANYONE have a reliable fix for something like this? ;_;

I must be more persuasive than I previously expected. Or somehow able to get people to do things far removed from their comfort zone.... Or mayhap I know how to bend the laws of physics so that the impossible becomes very much so achievable. I should use these powers to reshape reality to my will and turn anything that tickles my fancy into cake. >:3

I convinced a straight male Republican conservative Christian Texan to write gay furry porn. o.O

That wasnt even the start of it, though. What he wrote was so good that not only did I have to cross my legs in the wireless cafe I was sitting in when he'd emailed it to me, but I went to bed dreaming about the whole thing. And woke up beating off to it. O.O

On that note, you should expect something new - and big - from me in the next few months. I've already penciled out the first 3 pages of this thing in the past week. Its officially becomming a comic. >:3 And yes, seperate from the one I've already started with Cebelius. Lotsa projects in the works. :D

And on a slightly unrelated issuse, go check out :iconCebelus:. He's the guy who's writing out the whole storyline for the main one I'm working on crankin' out. He's got a DA page here, too ([link]). And I'll be buggered if his work isnt damn fine. :3

Other coolness:

* I clocked 82 hours of work last week. I cried all the way to the bank. XD

* I can now admit to not only leg pressing 10 x 900 lbs, but squatting 380 in a set of ten. My pelvic thrust is now filled with even MORE Apocalyptic potence! ^_^

* Earlier in the week, I'd stopped off at Quiznos to pick up a salad to go. I notice on the Salad menu that they have one called "Black and Bleu" with no descriptions beyond the name, itself.

When the lady behind the counter's ready to take my order, I ask her: "How do you make a Black and Bleu salad? Take a normal salad and beat the shit out of it?". .... I'm such a wize-ass. XD I'm glad she got a good chuckle outta that one. :D
